Hartford Riverfront Cross Country Festival

Due to Tropical Storm Irene and unprecedented flooding of the Connecticut River, 
the trails at Riverside Park are currently un-runnable.  Despite all efforts, put forth 
by Riverside Recapture Inc, to clear the trail system during the summer in expectation of 
the Festival, the Race Committee has decided a change of venue is necessary.

The Hartford Riverfront Cross-Country Festival on September 17th will be run at Keney Park 
in Hartford, Connecticut.  This newly designed course will consist of a 1.5 mile loop which 
runners will run twice then proceed to a finish line on an open field to complete the 5000m 
course.  

Entrance to Keney Park is directly across from the M.L. King School at 25 Ridgefield Street 
in Hartford, CT 06112.

Follow the numbered instructions: 

1. Establish an ID (not necessary if you already have an account established with plattsys)

2. Log in with your ID

3. Select the team to be entered off of the drop down menu

4. Update an old roster or create a new roster

5. Select Hartford Riverfront XC from the dropdown menu

6. Enter athletes into the meet: select an athlete and the race in which you wish 
to enter him from the drop down menu

8. Edit and review roster and entries

8a. Have a confirmation e-mail sent to you with all your entries

Due to changes in the national sanctioning rules, initial rosters and intent to compete 
form must be received by September 5 on www.plattsys.com.


       Timing this year will be done using the BIB-TAG Timing system.
            

The chips will be adhered to back of the race number. (DO NOT REMOVE)

Do not fold or wrinkle the race numbers.

The race numbers must be attached to the front of jerseys with four pins.

Race number not being used on race day must be returned to the packet pick up tent upon
receiving the packet.

                              TIMING SYSTEM
                              
The timing CHIP is integrated into the race bib so please make sure: 

Race bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso 

Race bib is unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle) 

Race bib is pinned in all four corners 

Race bib is not covered (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)
