Notes:	MIDDLESEX LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP Girls ML-12 Championship Meet Wednesday, January 29, 2014 Lexington High School 5pm Order of Events: # of Heats: Assumption: 2 entries per school, plus a few additional that meet the Division IV standards. 1. Girls Hurdles Trials 6 heats 2. Girls Dash Trials 6 heats 3. Girls One Mile 3 heats 4. Girls 600m 6 heats 5. Girls 1000m 5 heats 6. Girls 300m 9 heats 7. Girls Two Mile 2 heats 8. Girls Hurdles Final 1 heat Hurdle Finals advancing on time only 9. Girls Dash Final 1 heat Dash Finals advancing on time only 10. Girls 4 x 400 Relay 3 heats Field Events: 1. Girls Shot Put 3 flights 2. Girls High Jump GENERAL RULES 1. Team scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1. 2. Every team is allowed two entries per event, with no minimum standard. More than two entries are allowed if ALL entered athletes have met the Division 4 M.I.A.A. qualification standard. 3. Only 1 relay team entry per school. 4. Medals/Ribbons to the top six in each individual event; Top 3 in the 4 x 400 5. Spikes are allowed—only 1/8” or Ľ” pyramids. 6. Top 6 times in hurdle and dash trials advance to finals. 7. Girls’ high jump will open at 4’4” 8. The meet will begin at 5:00 P.M. Teams should plan to arrive in time to be ready to compete starting at 5:00 P.M. Like the state meet, we will NOT wait for late arrivals. We will follow state meet order to prepare for the upcoming State Meet. 9. All races will be seeded. (Slow to Fast) Heat sheets will be available on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 10. All entries must be completed online by Sunday, January, 26th at 12pm. Any entries not received by Platt Systems by 12pm are ineligible for meet entry (see online entry instructions below) Coaches will need to input their athletes’ times and distances on the www.plattsys.com website Track Entry System: For all Users: - navigate to www.plattsys.com - click on Track Entry System New Users: - New Users create User ID (use email account as User ID) - input Team and User information - click submit to process data - if successful, user will receive two lines of confirmation confirming User ID creation and Team Name creation - click continue to return to main Log in Menu - proceed to step below for “returning user” Returning Users - Returning Users log into the system with User ID and Password - STEP 1: enter athletes on your roster (ONLY THOSE WHO ARE RUNNING IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET); review roster using Option 8 (Review/Update athletes) - STEP 2: select meet (Middlesex League Championships) - STEP 3: enter athletes into the meet; select athlete name from drop down list; then select the event(s) that each athlete is to enter (i.e. 55m, 1 mile) and enter a mark (i.e. 5:00.0); hit CONFIRM to SUBMIT ENTRY; entry will appear in a list below the additional boxes - STEP 4: enter relays into meet; select relay name from drop down list; select section A; enter a mark for the relay (i.e. 4:01.0); hit CONFIRM to enter the relays - STEP 5: request email confirmation DIVISION IV QUALIFICATION STANDARDS 2014 BOYS GIRLS (FAT/Hand) (FAT/Hand) 55M Hurdles 8.54/8.3 9.74/9.5 55m Dash 7.04/6.8 8.24/8.0 300 meters 39.14/38.9 44.94/44.7 600 meters 1:29.74/1:29.50 1:47.24/1:47.0 1000 meters 2:48.74/2:48.50 3:23.04/3:22.8 Mile 4:46.24/4:46.0 5:46.24/5:46.0 2 Mile 10:30.24/10:30.0 12:50.24/12:50.0 Shot Put 41’6” 29’ High Jump 5’ 10” 4’10” *************************************** EVENTS --------- One Mile Shot Put High Jump 1000 meters 600 meters 300 meters Two Mile 55-meter Hurdles 55-meter Dash 4 x 400m Relay ********************************
