Entry Information: They must be done at http://www.directathletics.com
Participation Forms: Teams and Individuals advancing to the NCAA Championships need to Fax the minimum participation and verification forms to Rich Hart at Stonehill College at (508) 565-1460. They should be Faxed to Rich Hart please do not Fax them to UMass Lowell.
Declarations: You have two options for Declarations. If you use either option you are still required to attend the coaches meeting at 8:00pm on Saturday November 5th at the UMass Lowell Inn and Convention Center. We prefer option one if possible to have the chips ready to hand out promptly at the coaches meeting.
Option 1: e-mail to gary_gardner@uml.edu on Friday November 4, 2011 from 9:00am-9:00pm.
Option 2: Declare before the coaches meeting between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
If you fail to declare at either time a fine will result
Staring Boxes: Starting box positions will be in the packet.
Coaches Meeting: 8:00pm - after declaration period. This is a Mandatory meeting.
A fine will be assessed by the NCAA for failure to attend this meeting. The site will be announced within the next two weeks.
National Qualifying: Top three teams and top three individuals will automatically qualify for the national championships. Individuals who finish in the top five and are not part of a qualifying team will also qualify for the national championships.
Results: Will be posted on the finish line trailer and at www.coolrunning.com , www.goriverhawks.com and www.ncaa.com
We will be using chips in the bib this year so it should be much easier to manage for coaches, athletes and the meet director.
Merchandise: Official NCAA Merchandise will be on sale at the park on
Sunday.
