The First Annual Ellington Family Fall Festival 5K Road Race!
Location:
Brookside Park, Route 140 in Ellington, CT
Registration:
8:30 am Check in and Day-Of Registration begins for all both races
9:30 am Kids' Fun Run start
9:35 am 3K Youth Run start
10:00 am 5K race start
11:00 am Awards Ceremony
5K Course:
The 5K (3.1 miles) course starts and finishes at Brookside Park in Ellington. A water station will be located along the course and will be provided at the finish area.
Enter as a Team:
Prizes will be given to the team with the best cumulative race time, most spirited and best costume! Round up your friends, family, co-workers, fellow firefighters and emergency personnel and run the 5K as a team!
Race T-Shirts:
Short-sleeve 2012 Ellington Fall Festival Race tees will be provided to the first 250 people registering for the 5K road race!
Timing:
All times for the 5K and 3K will be monitored and recorded by Platt Systems, with official times provided shortly after the race at www.plattsys.com.
3K Youth Course:
The 3K (2 mile) loop tours down Route 140 to Muddy Brook Road and returns up Hathaway Rd. back to Route140 and finishing at Brookside Park.
Awards:
Awards will be presented at a post-race ceremony. 5K awards will go to the Team with the fastest cumulative score, and top individual male and female finishers within each of the following age categories: 18 & under; 19-39; 40-59; and 60 and over. 3K awards will go to the top three male and female finishers in the age categories of 9 and under and 10-13. All ages are as of race day.

Parking will be available in the main Brookside Park Parking area

5K Team of 4 $80 per team
