Berkshire Medical Center's Annual Independence Day Run 2015 - 5 Km. (3.1 miles) is sanctioned by USA Track and Field New England, and will be held on July 4, 2015.
The race happens along the parade route before Pittsfield’s 4th of July Parade. The race will begin
promptly at 9:30 a.m.
All runners must reach the turnaround by 9:55 a.m. and all must be able to complete the entire run in under 50 minutes.
All runners should arrive at Wahconah Park between 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. to receive instructions and proceed to the starting line for 9:00 a.m.
The use of headphones while competing is discouraged.
Trophies will be awarded to the top 5 finishers overall and first 5 finishers in each age division. No duplicate awards will be given.
Trophies will not be issued after the awards ceremony which will be held at 10:30 a.m. in baseball stadium.
Results will be posted on the parade website home page and at www.plattsys.com.

Electronic timing this year will be the BIB-tag system. The timing chip is attached to the bib number not to your shoelace.

Your timing tag is a part of the bib number, which must be worn on your torso, pinned to your outer layer of clothing.
