Notes:	Riverfront 5K Run and 5K Rowing Challenge Run, row or erg 5K to benefit Riverfront Recaptureďż˝s Community Rowing Program. 5K Run This course begins and ends at the Riverfront Boathouse, and includes well-maintained trails and paved roads traversing Riverside Park and alongside the Connecticut River. Not a runner? You can row or erg 5K, but 1) previous experience for either is required and 2) proficient single scullers only, club singles must be reserved with Brian. Awards: 5K Individual Awards: Overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Male/Female 5K Top 3 Male/Female Each Age Division Rowing Awards: Overall Male/Overall Female in Each Age Group Erging Awards: Top 3 Males/Females Overall Age Divisions: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49,50-59, 60-69, 70+ Race Day Schedule: 4:00 pm: Registration Opens/Bib Pick-up 6:00 pm: Race Start Time 7:15 pm: Awards Ceremony at Riverfront Boathouse (approximate time) Timing Provided by Platt Systems Riverfront Recaptureďż˝s Community Rowing Program serves more than 650 people annually and is one of the largest and most successful community rowing programs in New England. Recreational and competitive classes, including the opportunity to compete on nationally recognized racing teams, Adaptive and Veterans programs, and youth clinics taught by college coaches are offered to everyone from pre-teens to retirees. The Riverfront Recapture Rowing Program is over 25 years old and since 2002 has operated out of the Boathouse in Hartfordďż˝s historic Riverside Park on the Connecticut River. Each year since 1998, we host the Head of the Riverfront Regatta in early October.
