Notes:	********** Firecracker 5K ************ A Social Distancing Style Event Field Limit: 50 Entries (per town requirements) NO RACE DAY ENTRY Meet at the Church Street parking Lot in Vernon, CT Street Address is 31 Church Street - Vernon CT Out and back on the Shaded Rails to Trails in Vernon CT Phoenix Street to Valley Falls Park and back. USATF Certified 5K Race Course Full refund if event is cancelled **************** SAFE RACE PROCEDURES **************** * Numbers must be picked up before 7:30 am on July 11 * No Race Day Entry * Online entry will close at 9 pm July 10 * Runners must wear a mask to pick up their race number * No congregating allowed before or after the event. * Water provided at finish line only * Bring your own fluids for the race course * Results will posted to www.plattsys.com. * Results will not be posted at the race site to ensure social distancing. **************************************************** Number Pick up Schedule (Please wear mask) Numbers must be picked up before 6:30 am on July 11 Friday July 10. 6:15 pm to 8:15 pm Saturday July 11 6:00 am to 7:30 am Location: Church Street Parking Lot Vernon Ct ************************************************** START SCHEDULE Start Times First Wave goes off at 7:50 am Second Wave goes off at 7:55 am Third Wave goes off at 8:00 am ************************************************************** The net proceeds from the 5K will benefit the Friends of Valley Falls and Vernon Greenways (HLRP) in Vernon, CT (non-profits) .
