The first is By Event and the second is By Athlete. In a nutshell, Registering by Event involves selecting an event (e.g., the 200 meters) and then choosing which participants will compete in it. Registering by Athlete, involves selecting an athlete and choosing which events he or she will participate in. To add a seed manually click on ADD SEED Then type the mark into the text box listed as override seed.
