In Jumps and Throws: First legal jump/throw will be measured regardless of distance. 3 preliminary jumps followed by 3 in finals (Top 8 to finals).
Long Jump: No mark under 17' boys / 13' girls
Triple Jump:No mark under 35' boys / 27' girls
Shot Put: No mark under 38' boys / 27' girls
Javelin : No mark under100 ' boys / 70' girls
Discus: No mark under 100' boys / 70' girls

Coaches and their teams are invited to the 3rd Lawrence Stub Invitational at A. I. Prince Tech. HS on Saturday, May 21, 2016 starting at 10:00am.
Facility:
The meet will be held at Prince Technical High School in Hartford, CT. The 400m track is urethane, including the runways for the long jump, triple jump and pole vault. Spikes in excess of 3/16-inch (pyramid only) will not be allowed on the track and/or runways. The shot put and discus competition areas are off concrete circles.
Timing Services:
· Fully automatic timing and results will be provided
Entry Procedures and Limits:
· Athletes may compete in 3 events; if an athlete is listed on a relay, the relay counts as 1 of the athlete's 3 events.
· Each school is allowed only 3 athletes per event.
· Relay Events: Each school may enter 1 relay team in relay events. Please seed honestly!
Registration:
· All meet registration is administered by Platt Systems.
· Platt Systems Online Event Entry for Boys and Girls available on 04/24/2015.
· Coaches interested in attending the meet are required to complete the ONLINE Entry form to confirm your participation in the meet. Meet Director Clifton Thomas has placed a total team entry limit of 20 teams. The first 20 teams to submit their Intent to Enter will be invited to make their event entries.
· Since there is a 20-team entry limit, any team/school that withdraws from the meet after May 1, 2016 is required to pay for half of the entry fee.
· Deadline for Platt Systems athlete event entry is 9:00pm Eastern, Tuesday, May 16, 2015
· There are no late entries or day of meet entries.
· Entry fees are charged for entering the meet. You owe the entry fee as detailed below for all entries made online. There are No Refunds for scratches or no shows.
Scratches will be accepted on MEET DAY prior to the start of the meet by 9:45am. Do not email requests for scratches or replacement athletes.
Entry Fees - Checks:
· Entry fee: $125 for individual team ($200 for Men and Women Teams).
· ALL Entry fees must be received before competition begins!

Meet Day Information:
· Scratches of registered athletes will begin at 9:00 AM and will close at 9:45 AM on morning of the meet.
Meet Rules:
· All Track events will be Girls followed by Boys.
Hurdles will be run first all other running events will follow CIAC order of events
All Track events are finals.
· To insure a fair and quality meet, CIAC rules will govern all events.
· Implement Check: All implements must be checked in by an inspector prior to use in the meet. Violators will be disqualified for using implements that have not passed meet inspection.
Coaches, please pay special attention to the following:
· Times will determine place, regardless of heat.
· Uniforms must be worn during competition & meet relay requirements.
· Sportsmanship!
Awards: · Medals to top 3 place finishers.
Doctor and Trainer:
· An Athletic Trainer will be on site during meet.
